  why do i hide my face?
  why do i pretend to be happy?
  why do i put my hood up?
  
  i'm unhappy
  i'm afraid
  i'm insecure
  i'm unworthy
   
  Jesus clothes me in white
  He shines his light upon my face
  even though circumstances are bad,
  
  even if i may be unhappy
  even if i may be afraid
  even if i may be insecure
  even if i may be unworthy
  
  You are there
  step by step
  Your spirit makes me look up to you, O Lord
  
  You make me happy
  You make me calm
  You make me secure
  You make me worthy
  
  I need You, O Lord
  I thank You, O Lord
